Near the horizon

 Slowly dropping down
Changing colour
With the evening sky
As the sun continues to disappear

Gone for now
Darkness over the land
The wind howls
As the predators come out
Searching for prey

The night is over
The sun on the horizon
The sun shall rise
And the sun shall set
Always just on the horizon
