Ode to Valentine's The Encore: "The Trail"

 The trail unfurls for me 

I sit in wonder and revel in its beauty 

The birds sing harmoniously, and the flowers bloom 

I escape for a while from the ordinary gloom 

 The trail cares for me 

I rest with peace and sit with glee

 The sun shines gloriously, and the birds tell me what's new!

 I leave with my heart a canvas, painted with the trees’ green, and the sky’s blue.
