My life is a wavering sea
Yet you save me from all adversity, and replace it with glee
You guide me to all that is good and true
From a faltering ocean, to an island with grass green and skies blue.
When things get dark and hope is out of sight
You are my anchor, my guiding light.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, simply lovely. I love the nautical imagery used her to describe going from an uneasy and in constant movement of a churning sea to being studied “anchored” heartfelt your metaphor The metaphor of transforming from a faltering ocean to an island with green grass and blue skies is quite vivid and speaks of finding peace and stability through the support of another. Now, my only question is who is this anchor that provides this stability ?🤔
