Writetober 2023, Day 26: 'Coast'
A foggy lighthouse at Cape Cod
A murderer scientist who kept a facade
Obsessed with perfection and invention was he,
So up he went to his lab, and he went on a murderous duplication spree
Found at the sea's very coast
Near the fishing post
Was a stack full of bodies
Except they were all copies!
The bodies were all the same, oh yes, the same.
They all harbored the same name!
Before the court knew the slayer, the scientist had fled.
Or so they thought, as it turned out; he was found among the copied bodies, dead!
