A Christmas wonderland

Filled with possibilities and child-like whimsy 

Lights of different colors, wreaths aglow

Children in hats, dancing on the snow

Familiar melodies filling my ears

While I eat a cookie, that tastes just like Christmas cheer

A countdown to the big day
