Bored at Home

 Classes are out for the week

To pass time, I scroll on my phone

All I’m seeing

Is friends fleeing to a vacation getaway for winter break

Julia’s at the lake

Hayley’s in Tennessee

Instead of being in a compelling new place

Or eating fancy croissants next to a flower vase

I’m sitting in bed, staring at the screen

Just another day of being bored at home.
